We kicked off last weekend with a visit to the pumpkin patch.

Olivia carefully examined one...

And then, as any 4-month old child would do, promptly planted her mouth on it. Dirty pumpkin. Yum.

Please excuse my freakish bobble head in these photos. Doug brought the wide-angle lens, which I think makes me look like a weirdo in photos. He informed me that's actually how I looked. He's so nice.
Livvy also helped her dad find the perfect 'lil pumpkin for her! She looks super excited, huh?

Notice her tongue in her picture? Nice.

Doug, of course, managed to find this totally awesome pumpkin...

Yay for pumpkins!

We had DJ and Jaci over a few nights later for dinner and pumpkin carving. Olivia discovered something MUCH better than pumpkins.

Workin' hard. I am a carving pro (or psycho, depends on who you're asking).

Here is Doug's finished product along with the one that I carved for Livvy. I told Doug that his pumpkin was very "special". He is quite proud of his masterpiece.

On a totally different note, this is a classic picture of Olivia. In the last few days, she has figured out how to screech at the top of her lungs. And she does it all the time now. All. The. Time. It was pretty funny at first, but I'm not sure that we should be encouraging this habit because it's going to get obnoxious pretty soon. I wish that this picture had sound (video to come soon), but looking at her face you can get a pretty good idea of what I'm talking about!

Yes, she is actually happy in that photo!
It's a good thing that our little chunky monkey is so darn cute.

I love all the pics! Keep them coming! I miss you guys! xoxo Jamie
lol! I have too many comments....
1. LOVE her face in that first one. AWESOME.
2. I love how the pumpkins are as big as her, and that she has to lick them.
3. Your house is lovely, as well as your pumpkin
4. G always carves weird pumpkins too. Must be a perry boy thing.
5. I'm glad my children are not the only ones screaming at the top of their lungs. Welcome to the club wibby.
Ok, that was a good comment wasn't it! a novel is what they call that.
Okay... first, a day in the life of Livvy always brightens my day and always prompts my OP-stalking because I want to look at the pics over and over again. This is where I can almost hear David screaming "NO!" sort of in the aggressive arm flailing way Livvy does it. ha. Speaking of which, those last two pictures kill me. Funny and beyond adorable... all at the same time.
