Monday Funday

It was a pretty typical Monday morning here at the house...

Livvy began her morning with some time in her Bumbo chair. She has recently become absolutely obsessed with her feet. She's always staring at them and trying to get as close to them as she possibly can. I'm waiting for the day she figures out how to get them into her mouth...I'm pretty sure she's going to think that's the best thing ever!

First she goes for the left foot...

...and then for the right...

...then she just stares at them for a while...

...and finally she laughs and grins!

And of course, then she attempts to shove her hand into her mouth.

Olivia absolutely LOVES laying on leather furniture - she's figured out that she can kick and slide herself around on it. So every morning she has some "leather time" :)

Followed up by some time lounging in her dog bed (never previously used with a dog, of course!).

We also typically spend some time watching this carousel, which she adores because it lights up AND plays music!

Oh man, all of this playing wears a girl out!

Maybe it's time to stare at the feet again...

Eric & Kelly Suits - 8/15/09

Sorry that I've been a bad blogger lately...between Olivia, the house, and life in general, blogging has fallen by the wayside! I'm currently typing this post one-handed while using the other arm to hold Livvy while she's sleeping since she still refuses to nap in her crib!!!

Anyhoo, we had a fantastic weekend at Kelly and Eric's wedding a few weeks back! The ceremony and reception were held at a gorgeous vineyard in Pleasanton, CA. Kelly was (of course) an amazingly beautiful bride, and we couldn't be happier for the now Mr. and Mrs. Suits!

Here is Eric just before the ceremony, and Kelly taking her first steps down the aisle with her dad.

The 'maids & the 'men making their entrance.

A few shots from the ceremony. Eric's dad officiated (he's a judge), which added a really wonderful personal touch to the ceremony.

First dance as husband and wife :)

Of course, we took a few family shots. It's not all that often anymore that we're so nicely dressed and I have my hair and makeup done, so we had to take advantage of the situation!

We had the world's best babysitters (aka my parents) with us, too! They nicely took Olivia back to the hotel for the reception so Doug and I could have night out on out own - our first since she was born. Thanks so much for taking care of her for us!

One of the best parts about weddings is the opportunity to see lots of friends all at once. I'm so glad that Budge and Courtney were able to come...hope to see you two again soon (and Parker, too!).

And, of coruse, the obligatory "LA girls" shot...although Fe is in TN and I'm now in WA, so it might be time to rename the group. Love these girls!!!

Congrats Eric and Kelly!!! Hope you had a fantastic honeymoon!

Wedding season, as we've been calling it, continues with David and Felicia in October... Can't wait :)

Baseball

We took Olivia to her first Mariners game last week. For those of you who don't know, the Perry's are BIG M's fans, so this was her first of many games! She did pretty well, and made it through two hours at the stadium before she decided that it was time to go (otherwise known as a total meltdown!).

What, the Yankees scored again?!? Boooo.

Check out those cheeks! I swear they get bigger every day... love 'em!

Geoff & Amy Tie the Knot!

Geoff and Amy got married last weekend at La Costa in Carlsbad, CA. It was a fantastic weekend of celebration, and we couldn't be happier for Mr. and Mrs. Anfuso!

The boys started off the weekend with golf at the resort.

Dad and daughter at the rehearsal dinner at When in Rome. Olivia looked so cute in her red party dress!

The bridesmaids all prettied up and ready to celebrate with the groom's favorite beverage in hand!

Family photo.

Geoff waiting for his beautiful bride.

Amy looks fantastic, doesn't she?!? Here she is walking down the aisle with her parents, Mike and Anna Lynn.

Geoff's groomsmen.

Amy's bridesmaids.

And now, you may kiss your bride...

My parents joined in on the celebrations, too! I've known Amy since elementary school, so she is pretty much a part of my family :)

The Irvine girls...I've known all of them for 14+ years (and some for over 20 years)! It's always wonderful to have the opportunity to get together and catch up with all of them.

My part in the "grand entrance" with Donny, one of Geoff's groomsmen.

Paul, the best man, and Sarah, the maid of honor.

Mr. and Mrs. Anfuso!

First dance as husband and wife :).

We had such a wonderful weekend, and wish Geoff and Amy a lifetime of love and happiness!

Just Chillin'

Olivia loves to hang out in her Boppy and check out what's going on around her. This is her relaxing in bed this morning...

We're off to OC tomorrow for Amy and Geoff's wedding...can't wait!!! Fingers crossed that the little miss does okay on the flight. Pictures of Livvy in her pretty party dress to come next week :)

Tub Time!

Now that Olivia is getting a bit bigger (she's already 7 weeks old!), we got her a bathtub that she can sit in. She's still getting used to it, but is definitely warming up to the idea that bath time might actually be fun!

Here she is with a giant rubber ducky.

All clean and all smiles!
