Last weekend Livvy and I headed down to So Cal for a visit with the grandparents and Felicia's pre-wedding festivities. It was my first time flying alone with the little miss, and while I was definitely nervous about traveling with just the two of us, things actually went quite smoothly. And let me just say that I absolutely LOVE Alaska Airlines. Not only did they rearrange seats on both of my flights to give me my own row (because, let's be honest, who really wants to sit with a newborn on an airplane?), they also carried all of my baggage for me both on and off of the plane. And Olivia even got a tour of the cockpit and met the pilots of our flight back up. The flight attendants were a bit obsessed with her (really, who isn't ;).
We discovered over the weekend that Olivia loves paper. Specifically, she adores the Nordstrom catalogue. Well, she is my daughter so it's really not all that surprising! Here she is checking out the latest fall fashions. I didn't have the heart to tell her that they don't really come in her size.

The little miss also had a great time helping Grandma read the comics.

Livvy loves spending time with Grandpa!

She also loves hanging out in her Bumbo, and is really getting into reaching for (and whacking at) toys!

Saturday we headed down to San Diego for Felicia's bachelorette party. I didn't get any pics because I used the free time that I got to hang out at the pool (thanks for babysitting mom!) and then Olivia decided that she was NOT in a party mood and we left in the late afternoon. Such is life with a three month old!
Sunday was Felicia's bridal shower. Here's the lovely bride to be with Jen and Melanie.

The lovely LA ladies.

After the shower I took Livvy over to my friend Erin's house. We're already playing matchmakers with Olivia and Dylan... I adore the way he's looking at her in this photo!

Of course, when meeting another baby one must shove their hand into their mouth.

Dylan gets in on the action.

Then the two of them start holding hands. I swear, they did this all on their own!

All of this action really wears a girl out.

(I wish that I could say that she slept like this the whole flight, but it was really only 15 blissful minutes before she woke up and demanded constant entertainment!)
